The Clinical Pathology Laboratory is NATA-accredited for haematology, biochemistry, and urinalysis, and is fully equipped to perform cytology. The laboratory is supported by a team that includes a specialist veterinary clinical pathologist, ensuring high-quality diagnostic interpretation and leadership.
We primarily service the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital Sydney, providing routine diagnostic testing for companion animals. We also accept external submissions, and our Camden laboratory offers specialised services in livestock and equine clinical pathology.
In addition to diagnostic services, the Clinical Pathology Laboratory supports research projects from both the University and external institutions, offering access to biochemistry and haematology testing on state-of-the-art analysers.
Services are also available for laboratory animals and wildlife upon request.
For enquiries regarding specimen collection or submissions, please contact us.
